With an introduction by WTTC’s President & CEO, Gloria Guevara, a video message from UNFCC's Patricia Espinosa, followed by a discussion moderated by BBC's Ros Atkins featuring Rita Marques, the Secretary of State for Tourism, Portugal and Darrell Wade, WTTC's Vice-Chair of Sustainability, Accelerating the Sustainability Agenda is the first of WTTC's virtual event series.

More than ever before, we dream of discovering the world and its natural wonders. Yet to ensure our planet’s long-term sustainability, we must be responsible stewards. While Travel & Tourism has made great progress, we must move further and faster, working together to take meaningful action to address the threats that climate change poses to the sector and to the world. In this webinar we will consider the sector’s steps and achievements, what more can we do, and how we can come together to change and stimulate new traveller behaviours.
